Caring for Your Pre-Owned Piece

Every dress is different, so always follow the care label on your garment first. Where a label is missing or unclear, the guidelines below will help keep your piece in great condition.

Delicate fabrics (satin, silk, lace, chiffon)

Hand wash cold or dry clean. Do not wring or twist. Lay flat or hang to dry, away from direct sunlight.

Embellished pieces (sequins, beads, feathers, crystals, appliqué)

Spot clean or professional dry clean only. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Everyday fabrics (cotton, knit, jersey)

Machine wash cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Hang to dry. Avoid tumble drying to prevent shrinking and pilling.

Ironing and steaming

Use a steamer or a low-heat iron on the reverse side, with a pressing cloth. Never iron directly over embellishments, lace or prints.

Storage
